Back pain specifics @ Team Buckley

An evidence-based approach to back and neck pain rehabilitation.

It is argued that back pain will affect most of us at some stage in our lives and, from our experience, often the first signs of low back pain start at a relatively young age. Low back pain, in particular, often reoccurs and sometimes runs a chronic course. Many people inform us that their pain has limited their enjoyment of day-to-day life, such as their ability to work and take part in their chosen sports and hobbies.

Today, there are a multitude of choices for the treatment of back pain. The sufferer is often confused by which therapy best meets their needs—this is not helped by claims that there are “permanent cures”.

Therefore, it is our aim at Back Pain Specifics at Team Buckley to offer our clients an evidence-based approach to the treatment of back pain—with a strong emphasis on getting you back to your optimal level of function as quickly as possible.

Treatment for:
General aches and pains
Back pain
Joint pains
Arthritic pain
Lumbago
Sciatica
Muscle spasms
Uncomplicated mechanical neck pain
Headaches arising from neck pain (cervicogenic)

Contact reception for advice on which therapist is ideal for your problem.

Back pain may present itself as a local discomfort built up over time and it can range in intensity from mild to severe—often with no specific identifiable cause. On occasion, it may radiate into the buttocks, legs, and feet or into the arms and hands. On some occasions, clients inform of pins and needles and/or numbness in the extremities. Symptoms are often activity-related to repetitive poor postures, such as long periods of sitting and standing and/or exaggerated movements, such as repeated bending and lifting.

What we offer:
• Experienced, qualified and registered therapists trusted by medical professionals and elite athletes for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• One-to-one treatment.
• Relationships with medical doctors and consultants, where required, to optimise your care.
